What Birev is
Birev is a property listings site in Azerbaijan. Anyone who wants to buy a home, rent an apartment or sell their own place uses the same search. Today the site has 5 344 active listings in 41 cities and districts. The number is recalculated every hour.
What's on the site
The main part is listings: sales, rentals and daily rent. New buildings, old buildings, houses, land, offices, commercial property and garages are in separate sections.
People looking for a room and people renting one out meet in the Roommates section. If you need a specialist for repairs or a move, check out the Services section.
To make sense of prices, there are price statistics: we calculate the average price and the price per m² from the site's live listings. We have written guides on the title deed, notary, mortgage and rental agreement; the ones about legal steps end with a list of official sources.

How listings are checked
A new listing doesn't appear on the site right away — a moderator reviews it first. The same goes when something in an active listing is changed: until the check is finished, buyers see the old version.
To post a listing, your phone number is confirmed with an SMS code. A user who has verified their identity gets a «Verified account» badge next to their name.
If you spot a mistake in a listing, press «Report listing» on its page: the home is already sold, the price is wrong, the photos show another home, or the listing is a duplicate. An expired listing drops out of search, so long-sold homes don't stay in the results.
Posting a listing is free within the free limit. Bumping a listing up («Bump up»), Premium and packages for those with many listings are paid.
