Apartments for rent: monthly prices
Before you go to view an apartment for rent, ask by phone: are utilities included in the monthly price or paid separately? Does the owner rent to a single person? The second question isn't idle: some listings have a "Families only" tag, and you can pick those separately in the filter.
In a "Furnished" apartment, disputes later most often arise over the condition of appliances and furniture. On move-in day, photograph everything and attach the inventory to the contract: you'll need it when you take your deposit back. When you hand over a deposit, make sure you are dealing with the owner themselves: look at the title deed and the ID. What clauses to put in the contract, read in the article on the rental contract.
A cheap apartment may not be worth daily transfers, so as you browse the listings (873), estimate the commute to work too. If the apartment at the viewing doesn't look like the photos, there is a "Report listing" button on the listing page.
This section in numbers: the average rent is 650 AZN a month. Most listings are between 370 and 1,500 AZN a month. Based on 873 current listings on Birev; the figures update as the listings change.
